With all the Surrendering the Secret giveaway talk (it’s continuing over HERE) over the last two weeks, there has been a lot of behind-the-scenes emailing from people I sort of know, and people I’ve never heard of, about the topic of “breaking free”. Since it stemmed from the giveaway of a post-abortion healing study, the obvious direction of the discussion was the breaking free from the painful past of abortion. However, as we all know, that’s not the only thing from which a break would be beneficial.
Beth Moore, author of numerous books and bible studies, calls Breaking Free her “life message”. As a self-proclaimed “former pit-dweller”, she longs to help other women find freedom for the bondage of past sin. The original bible study was filmed in 1999 at Franklin Avenue Baptist Church in New Orleans. LifeWay is filming an updated version next month (November 10-15), at the same location, for re-release. My sweet friend Tammy (aka Grateful in GA), has two extra tickets for the filming that she is giving away on her blog this week.
May I encourage you to consider this possibility for yourself and/or a friend? You know, God wants nothing more than for us to live FREELY in HIM. He sacrificed His Son so that freedom would be possible, for no other reason than HE LOVES YOU and wants you to spend eternity with Him. But, the amazing part is that we don’t have to wait until heaven to live FREE and VICTORIOUS lives. We can have that victory RIGHT NOW.

Those pictures are exquisite! The last one of the trees is my favorite. I’m pondering the give-away at tammy’s. I would love to be at this event; this is one of two studies I have yet to do with Beth and was waiting until the new videos came out to invest in the study…
