You know, I really don’t have anything to say this morning. I’ve been sitting here thinking and the words aren’t coming. Instead, I get the sense that today’s supposed to be more about listening.

Being quiet, and listening.

We have a lot going on over here. Maybe you do, too. Maybe you, like us, have decisions to make and businesses to run and families to guide and lead. Maybe you, like us, have new opportunities in the new year that require a lot of thought and prayer.

Perhaps the message I’m getting is really one for all of us.

Be quiet. Listen.

Maybe if we do that, the words that come tumbling out will not be ours.

Maybe they’ll be His and that’s what we need more than anything we could come up with, yes?

Come to me with your ears wide open.Listen, and you will find life…” Isaiah 55:3 NLT

Let be and be still, and know (recognize and understand) that I am God.” Psalm 46:10 AMP
