Hi there. Remember me? The girl who used to post here everyday?

Well.

Let me tell you about the last three weeks.

I went to Florida the second week of March. Kevin followed, and we spent the next few days with the kids, celebrating Brody’s birthday. Then, Kevin stayed for a business meeting, and Lilli and I flew back home to Texas. We spent that week having fun, while Kevin returned to Emmie’s house and spent those days having fun with Brody. Then, Lilli and I flew back to Florida, where we saw Kevin for a day and a half before he flew back to Texas. After another day, I met my friend, Mary Snyder, at the Tampa airport, rented a car for the drive down to Fort Lauderdale, and set sail for fun cruise through the Caribbean. Yesterday, I came home, and tomorrow is April!

What?!

When I left, my landscape still held its winter pallor, but this morning, my view is this:

Lovely, isn’t it?

Looking back at what I just wrote about the last few weeks makes me feel exhausted, but I loved every second. There was a lot of moving around, but there was also a lot of LIFE lived in the midst of it. I spent some high quality time with people I love, and made the most out of every second.

Life is moving just as quickly, if you think about it. You don’t have to pack a lot of travel into those minutes to really live, though. If you are fully engaged in spending those moments with people you love, making the most out of every second, you, too, might look up to see that the seasons have changed, and that’s okay.

If you’re focused on the things that are most important, you won’t be missing a single thing.

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven. ~ Ecclesiastes 3:1 ESV
