Stolen Moments
Today was a busy day. I had an acreage community to go check out for possible building sites, plus a long list of errands to run, my mind a jumble with things not only on today's list, but tomorrow's and the next day's, as well. With still another 2-3 stops to make, I pulled up into the parking lot of a large shopping center and looked up. There it was: What appeared to be some kind of chapel sat looming large on a hill top overlooking the shopping center and the city beyond. Changing One Heart for Many – Week 17
Just joining us? Go here to catch up and join the movement!I'll be honest with you about something. When I first began this prayer journey with you four months ago, I did it with the best intentions. Or, there was the perfect new-construction home backing to a freeway that, already loud, was set to expand in the next year. Or, another beautiful new construction home...
Changing One Heart for Many – Week 16
Just joining us? Go here to catch up and join the movement! It's Sunday afternoon, and we just returned from a weekend spent with our moms. Since we're now back in Texas, it was the first Mother's Day in a lot of years that we've actually spent with them. Needless to say, it was a special one. Knowing this post awaited my attention today, I struggled between wanting to write a Mother's Day post and writing our usual prayer team post. Then, when we attended church with my mother-in-law and the priest said the following, it tucked itself into my heart and brought the post together:"When a child is born, he comes out holding a little sign that says,'I will teach you about...
