My Hope is Built on Nothing Less
Hope. It's a word that's been popping up around me lately like so much hyacinth in spring. "Hope against hope"..."I'm about to give up hope"..."All we can do is hope"..."It's my last hope"..."The Audacity of Hope"...and on and on.As I've mentioned before, God tends to speak to me through repetition, mercifully tending to my need to hear things again and again before they finally sink in. I've been wondering why the word "hope" was being thrown at me, as things have seemed to be on a fairly even keel of late. As of this morning, I know. The troubling situation at my husband's office, has suddenly reared its ugly head once again; this time in the form of a suit. This is something that we knew...
PRAYER TEAM BUTTON – RECALL!!
It was brought to my attention that the prayer team button code was faulty, sending people to a "blog cannot be found" page. The code has been corrected and, if you have it installed on your blog, you'll need to replace the old code with the new. Simply grab it again and swap it out! Thanks, April, for pointing this out...and to ALL of you for posting it!

Face [in the] Book
Do you Facebook? I know many of you do. It's quite the communication phenomenon. I stayed on the periphery for the longest time, opting out of adding another computer distraction to my day. But, little by little, the allure of connecting with old friends and keeping up weekly, daily, hourly, and even minute by minute with my blogging friends, won me over. I was completely hooked.Large chunks of my day began to become unaccounted for anything productive. I kept up with everyone, morning, noon and night, and awoke early in the morning to thoughts of what my friends might be doing that day. I even found myself rushing through my quiet time in order to get on the computer and see what I'd...
Peering through the Clouds
I'm always moved beyond words when God decides to let me get a glimpse at heaven. He does it all the time, if I'll just stop long enough to look. But sometimes He puts it together in such a grand fashion that I'm bowled over by it, and that happened this weekend! I had the opportunity to spend a weekend worshiping with some of my favorite people in the world: my Siestas. Or "Southern Siestas", I should say, as those that gathered were all from Georgia and her neighboring states. We came to be a part of Travis Cottrell's live recording of his newest CD/DVD at First Baptist Church Woodstock, and it was GLORIOUS. My sweet blog friend Mary, is now my sweet REAL friend, Mary. She stepped out...
