Prison Break

Living the Life of Riley

It's always amused me that the phrase "living the life of Riley" has been canine-ified by my very own little dog.  Here is the definition of the phrase, according to a quick Google search:"Living the life of Riley" suggests an ideal life of prosperity and contentment, possibly living on someone else's money, time or work.  Rather than a negative freeloading or gold-digging aspect, it instead implies that someone is kept or advantaged."Indeed.  This was the scene upon which my eyes fell yesterday afternoon, as I went searching for my husband and Riley.  Yep...I'd say Riley was the perfect name choice.

Living the Life of Riley

Aloha!

The hubs and I just returned from a sublime stint in the Hawaiian isles...Maui, to be exact! While we flew 4,625 miles to see palm trees and bougainvillea (both of which are in abundance in our own back yard!), we did get the added bonus of Caribbean-blue water, spectacular mountain vistas and fresh seafood, the likes of which do not swim in the Gulf of Mexico! Shout to the Lord – Indeed!

I am a shameless American Idol watcher, but this absolutely bowled me over! If you saw Wednesday night's "Idol Gives Back", you heard this song withOUT Jesus' name included.  They sang is AGAIN on Thursday night, the way it was written, proclaiming the Name for all the world to hear!
