The Truth about Dogs

The Truth about Dogs

I am having a morning where I am overcome with love for my dog. I have a few friends who are not "dog people", so I'm certain they will not understand. However, there is something that the little guy does to my heart that I almost can't explain. I grew up with A dog (for a brief period, two dogs) that lived OUTSIDE. My mother is asthmatic, so animals living in the house was out of the question. I never really thought anything about it until I met Kevin. And you're right - it is the same color as your room and looks to be just about as sweet as you are! Certainly fit for my little princess!", her father answered as he paid the vendor...

A Man of His Word

I have a devotional journal called "Streams in the Desert". The original text was published in 1925, a collection of thoughts and inspirations collected by a missionary to Japan and China as an additional means of sustenance during hard years. Sometimes the language is very "King James" in nature, but oh so profound! What I read this morning really moved me.When a shipwright builds a vessel, does he build it to keep it in the stocks? Nay, he builds it for the sea and the storm. When he was making it, he thought of tempests and hurricanes; if he did not, he was a poor shipbuilder. When God made thee a believer, He meant to try thee; and when He gave thee promises, and bade thee trust them,...
