Each week when I write this post, I peruse the headlines regarding pro-life issues and try to keep you up-to-date with what’s happening. Here’s what I found today:
- Clinton reiterates Obama Administration’s support for global family planning
- Sebelius likely to be confirmed as HHS Secretary; Republicans not expected to filibuster
- 17 Year Old girls in US will soon have access to over-the-counter “morning after” pill
I will admit to feeling very discouraged; after all, the change that we’re praying for is not the change we seem to be getting. Then, out of the blue, the word “laminin” drops in my head. Please know that I’m not a biologist, nor do I have any affiliation with the medical field. I had, however, seen the following video a while back. You may have seen it, too (if so, catch up with me on the other side), but if you haven’t, it’s WELL WORTH sitting for 8 minutes and watching it all the way through.
Our God is the Creator, not just of the universe, but of every fiber – every molecule – of every person in it. He’s the creator of the seen and the unseen, the born and the unborn. Even when our country’s value system seems to be unraveling, it’s encouraging to be reminded that His mark is, literally, the thread that holds everything together.
Stay accountable and sign in! Thanks for your continued commitment!
I’m here. Not discouraged, really. More resigned to whatever lies ahead of us. I trust that God knows exactly what is happening not only to His babies but to the men and women who are also victims of this upside-down world system.
I continue to pray for God’s will to rule and for Him to help us. Help us. Help us.

Thank you Jesus for holding us together. We trust you to honor these prayer petitions for the unborn in your time. Help us to keep our eyes on you and not the world’s circumstances.

Great video,I’ve it this before and was amazed!
Stop by an check out our video “Beyond the Choice.” They are women who made the choice to have an abortion and their regrets.
But are now telling the world how they found healing through the grace of Jesus Chirst.
Stilling praying,
Tammy
I’d not heard of laminin – what an incredible witness our very cells pay to Jesus! Continuing with you in prayer for the beloved unborn.
I, too, have been disheartened by everything that has been going on this past week.
Thank you for the reminder that He is indeed before all thing! I watched the video and it was worth 8 minutes of my day! Thanks so much for posting this today!
Melinda, continuing with you in prayer…

“Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9
I agree the laminin thing is very cool! It is difficult to not become discouraged and overwhelmed by this battle for life. It must certainly grieve the Lord’s heart that people would fight so fiercely to murder a child. It must also grieve the Lord that so many women and men are suffering because of decisions made to abort a child and yet they either do not know or do not believe that He will forgive all who come to Him.
I continue to stand in prayer with all of you.
praying but late signing in…
Love the laminin….. how incredible is that!
