Just joining us? Go here to catch up and join the movement!
Twenty weeks of praying! What an awesome privilege to join with you in covering our president and this great nation in prayer! Thanks for your continued commitment.
I’m sure you were just as dismayed as I to learn about the murder of late-term abortionist, George Tiller. Not only is it morally wrong, of course, but it does absolutely nothing for the pro-life movement, making us look like a bunch of radical extremists. Perhaps you remember our discussion of peaceful and respectful protest; this is one of those instances that makes me think it’s more important than ever that we stand firm, but act in respect and love.
There was an article this week in the Tampa Tribune about A Woman’s Place (Crisis Pregnancy Center) and it’s location RIGHT NEXT DOOR to one of the city’s largest abortion providers. Here’s an excerpt (for the complete article, click here):
For the last year, the ministry [A Woman’s Place] and All Women’s Health Center of North Tampa have operated side by side in separate buildings in a professional office complex on Bruce B. Downs Boulevard.
And they’ve done it with no disruption, despite their polar opposite objectives.
“We’ve got a great relationship. Things are very peaceful around here,” says Heidi Mullis, the [abortion] clinic’s administrator. “I’ve even sent a few women over [to A Woman’s Place], if they just want a sonogram or if they’re still undecided about what to do.”
It’s continues…
[Pat] Layton and Mullis acknowledge they will never agree on the abortion issue. And they are equally adamant about the necessity of the different purposes their respective programs serve. But despite those differences, they can agree about staying on friendly terms and treating each other with respect.
“Everyone is entitled to their own opinion,” Mullis says. “Maybe if they took this attitude in places like the Middle East, we’d have a more peace in the world.”
Indeed. We’re never going to make strides without respect in our actions, backed with the power of prayer.
Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against one of your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD. Leviticus 19:18 NIV

Still praying with you, Melinda.
Fyi — I continue to have trouble getting on to your site. Tried several times today before it would work. I get a message that Internet Explorer cannot open the site and then it says "operation aborted" (what a choice of words, huh?!). Don't know if others are having trouble, too, or just something with my computer… I think it's only happened on one other site one time…
We are still with you girl!
Praying up a STORM!!! Can't wait to walk!
