With the Congress in recess until the end of August, there are many representatives holding “town hall” meetings in their communities. This is an EXCELLENT opportunity to respectfully voice your opinion about Health Care Reform while it’s fresh on everyone’s mind and will allow all of these leaders to return to session with their constituents’ words ringing in their ears. The following video from Focus Action is worth watching for more info on finding a town hall meeting in your area and what to do once you get there.

I implore you to find and attend one of these meetings and make your voice known. For the unborn. For your own family and loved ones. For the future of our nation.

Father God, We come to You today – many believers, one voice – to stand for life. Lord, we see You working and praise You for being a God of action. We so want to be known as a people of action, Father, to be Your hands and feet, and to have Your words pouring off our tongues so that those who don’t know You might get glimpse enough that they want more. You’ve told us that a three-fold cord is not easily broken; how much stronger, Father, is a hundred-, a thousand-, a million-fold cord? Cause us to join hands and hearts in the belief that YOU are bigger than any problem we face as a nation and remember that when we join together in prayer, YOU have promised to be there, to spring into action. We’re doing our part Lord; help us to not lose steam in our commitment but to, instead, breathe deep the very breath of YOU to spur ourselves on to the finish – no matter how long the race. Believing You will change one heart for many, we pray in the MIGHTY, LIFE-GIVING NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, Amen.

Thanks for the link, Melinda. I'd love to go to one of the town hall meetings. We really have to get verbal about our displeasure regarding this health care reform NOW or it is going to be too late.
