It all started on a blog. This one, in fact, when my friend Mary left her first comment over here. Comments led to email, which eventually led to us meeting in person and discovering all we had in common. That meeting left us both with the hint that maybe we were supposed to do some ministry together.
A mere glint in the eyes of two willing women.
A dream.
Tomorrow, I leave to meet her in the mountains of North Carolina for a strategy/vision-casting meeting. The dream that we offered up to the Lord months ago, was taken into His mighty hands and fashioned into more than we ever thought possible. What will He do with this gIRL™ once she’s “born”? We’re excited to chase after Him and see!
Would you pray for us as we meet this week? That we would stay out of God’s way and continue to allow Him to breathe life into this gIRL™ of His own making? I’ll thank you in advance and be back next week with a report of His goodness!
In the meantime, I wonder…are you dreaming a little dream? Have you offered it up to God? He not only makes dreams come true, but after an infusion of His grace, offers it back to you as a thing of wonder…something beyond your wildest imaginings.

Have you hopped over here yet, to sign up for the giveaway?
this goes right along with my posting a few days ago. Oh yeah, baby!! Have fun, dream big because:
GOD DREAMS BIGGER DREAMS THAN WHAT WE DREAM OURSELVES. I have this over my bed at home and believe it with all of my heart.
Love,
Yolanda
More than one wonderful friendship has been born right here! Yeah!
I will pray.
Been missing you.
Blessings.
I love that you two met on here. I love that I met both of you at the same time. I love that God gave us the gift of girlfriends and smart ones at that! I love that you both see this as something bigger than yourselves and are actively seeking to keep out the negativity that the world often associates with girlfriends. I love that you take it serious and have a blast all at the same time. I love you both and I love being able to pray over this weekend for you. May God give you both clear minds and a clear word from Him on what is next for gIRL. May He bless you with a wonderful time of fellowship and laughter. May you see His beauty on display in the Mountains of NC. (One of my favorite places ever!) May you come back refreshed and raring to go! 🙂
Oh yeah!! I'm dreaming. I'm dreaming with you! I'm also dreaming a dream of my very own. Praying. See you soon.

I WILL pray my friend!! So much love coming your way!!
A dream in the heart of God's child become reality in God's world!
Praying,
Tammy
Melinda,
Just want you to know I am praying for you as you strategize and God casts HIS vision.
I know God will be in the midst of you as you meet.

Melinda,
Mike told me about this and I am amazed….at your vision, at God's hand on it…..I myself have been praying for an area of service here in St. Louis – haven't gotten an answer yet, but this has encouraged me. Loved the post on inclusive/exclusive events. Oh so true!
Looking forward to a recap, Melinda. I was in Washington, NC, for a ladies' luncheon. A great time of ministry and fellowship. I love being with God's women of all ages!
Keep us posted.
