While in Santa Fe, my brothers and I spent a day hiking together in the Santa Fe National Forest. All of us love nature and enjoy photography, so we toted our cameras around as a second set of “eyes”, capturing memories for further ponderance.
As I was going through my pictures (which had been shot quickly, in great numbers), I started to see a pattern. The pattern was “repetition”. My eye apparently was drawn to things that I found beautiful due to the way they were repeated. Here’s what I mean:
Certainly I had some amazing photos of breathtaking vistas and beautiful trails, but there was something about these tight shots that really touched me. God shows Himself to us in the grand and magnificent. But, He also speaks His love to us in the details.
Over and Over.
Melinda, I loved the shot of the aspen trees. It’s been too long since I’ve seen any myself — over 10 years now. Time to head for the mountains again, huh?!
Melinda,
I am so thankful for HIM and His beauty. It is simply, evident, every where, is it not? 😉
Love,
Yolanda
I’m thankful that He never grows tired of repeating Himself. I often need to hear Him remind me of the same thing more than once – how easy it is to forget His promises when circumstances are hard. So thankful that He doesn’t mind telling me over and over again.
Beautiful pics,
Joy
Is He ever about the details!!
This kind of thing always knocks my socks off!
Terrific photos that look like an amazing trip ~ jealous with a Godly jealousy!
love ya girl!

Thanks for sharing this, Melinda! He is always telling me things more than once, until I get it. Now I have comfort knowing that He does this for all of his creation. 🙂
The second picture was my favorite, is that some kind of bark?
Love,
Sonya

The whole earth is full of His glory!
