Remember how Sunday’s are supposed to be for His words, instead of mine? Well, I just threw that to the wind, yesterday, and gave you mine anyway! So, TODAY, I’m giving you His! Things in this life are always changing, aren’t they? Sometimes at a dizzying speed. Well, He has something to say about that.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. ~ Hebrews 13:8 ESV
For I am the Lord—I do not change. That is why you are not already utterly destroyed, for my mercy endures forever. ~ Malachi 3:6 TLB
But whatever is good and perfect comes to us from God, the Creator of all light, and he shines forever without change or shadow. ~ James 1:17 TLB
God is not a man, so he does not lie.
He is not human, so he does not change his mind.
Has he ever spoken and failed to act?
Has he ever promised and not carried it through? ~ Numbers 23:19 NLT
Yet I still dare to hope
when I remember this:The faithful love of the Lord never ends!
His mercies never cease.
Great is his faithfulness;
his mercies begin afresh each morning. ~ Lamentations 3:21-23 NLT
The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever. ~ Isaiah 40:8 ESV
Forever, O Lord, your word is firmly fixed in the heavens. ~ Psalm 119:89 ESV
I am the Alpha and the Omega, [the very beginning and the very end,] the One who is, the One who was, and the One who is coming: the All Powerful. ~ Revelation 1:8 VOICE
When people make promises, they guarantee them by appeal to some authority above them so that if there is any question that they’ll make good on the promise, the authority will back them up. When God wanted to guarantee his promises, he gave his word, a rock-solid guarantee—God can’t break his word. And because his word cannot change, the promise is likewise unchangeable. ~ Hebrews 6:17-18 MSG
